Your therapeutic experience will be customized to your needs. Together, we will assess your strengths as well as your opportunities for growth and change. Through honest examination, therapy provides the opportunity to identify and work toward your goals, creating the change you wish to see in your life.

Therapy sessions usually occur weekly and are generally 50 minutes in length. While there is not a definitive number of sessions required for treatment, therapy typically ends when you have met the goals you initially identified.

Confidentiality is a hallmark of therapy and helps create a safe and protective environment that allows for honesty and vulnerability. Everything you say in therapy will be kept confidential. I am required by law, however, to take action in cases of child abuse, elder abuse, or if I think you are a physical threat to yourself or to someone else.

I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO insurance, as well as my full fee, which can be paid in the form of cash, check, or credit card. If you should have another form of insurance, I am happy to help you with the documentation necessary that you can use to submit to your insurance for an out of network provider, meaning you may be able to receive some percentage of reimbursement from your provider.

Absolutely. Marriage and family therapy, also commonly known as systemic therapy, simply refers to the idea that as therapists, we view people through the lens of relationships. We know that you do not live in a vacuum and are instead impacted by those around you, including friends, family members, and colleagues. I can and do work with people from all walks of life.
